Some of the greatest football players of all time, like Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona, have led their country to victory in the World Cup, further cementing their legacy.
However, there are also incredibly talented players who have, unbelievably never got their hands on the elusive gold trophy, and some in this list, never will.
